About
Rachael began formally studying the piano and violin at the age of 7. At age 12, she began studying the harp. After her first lesson, the harp became her favorite instrument and her passion. She had the privilege of studying the harp under Nancy Blanchard Watts and several years later went on to study under the principal harpist for the Milwaukee Symphony, Danis Kelly. Rachael has made guest appearances with various orchestras such as the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra and Youth Symphony in WI, the Cleveland Youth Orchestra in TN, the Columbia Union Orchestra in MD as well as appeared on television stations such as Ad Venir in Bolivia and 3ABN. Rachael toured the United States and Canada with her siblings for several years, playing for countless venues and churches and has played for over 100 weddings. In recent years, she has enjoyed providing harp music during the V.I.P. reception at the Make a Wish Foundation as well as making a guest appearance at Doctors in Recital, an annual fundraising concert to benefit various charities in the community. Rachael’s musical presence and beautiful pedal harp can enhance any event—from memorial services, Christmas parties, baby showers, wedding ceremonies and receptions to providing relaxing music for patients at hospitals and cancer centers. She is currently available for weddings and events in the Chattanooga, Knoxville and surrounding areas.
